Are you a fan of Halloween Movies?

We are!

Which is why we created the most comprehensive #HalloweenMovie Checklist available! Complete with every franchise listed in #Chronological order... so you don't have to waste time researching the best watch order and can go straight to binging great movies with family & friends... or if you dare, alone!

While we love every holiday, admittedly Halloween is one of our all-time favorites - it's a time where a little more magic hangs in the air and you can expect the unexpected... not unlike our Bay Area housing market. The typical cyclic slowdown in buyer activity usually coincides around back-to-school schedules in late July to early August, with a marked uptick by mid-October. If you're a seller who wasn't able to make a Spring or Summer debut, October may just be the right month to get your home on the market. With school and summer vacations in the rear view mirror, qualified and eager buyers tend to work diligently to secure that "perfect home" for the holidays. October also presents many unique opportunities to market you home - if you'd like to learn more, we'd love to share some of our creative marketing techniques we use to get more attention to your property, give us a call at 925.718.6333 or click here to contact us online.

What to do with a Haunted Home?

October isn't just a great time to put your home on the market, it's also a great time to bust out that Fall decor. According to a survey by YouGov October 1st is the day you should put up those Halloween decorations. All decked out and ready to scare the pants off friends, family, and neighbors? What better way to show off those spooktacular decorations than by hosting a movie marathon! Martha Stewart has some great tips on how to host an amazing movie night and "with hundreds of films that can fall into the Halloween canon [...] you can create a movie marathon for any cinematic taste that's a true blockbuster." Our Spurr Group - Ultimate Halloween Movie Checklist is your perfect guide to creating an amazing event... but don't stop there use our custom 31 Day Countdown Template to curate the perfect month-long watch list or one night Halloween fest. Send a copy of the checklist out to friends and family in a challenge to see who's got the highest count under their belt.

Don't own a house yet but dreaming of one where you can host a frighteningly fantastic Halloween party or movie marathon? We can help!! October is a great time to be a homebuyer - inventory is up and sellers are motivated. Most buyers that are in the market this time of year are well qualified and looking to snag the perfect home by end of year, however, in general there is less competition overall. You may be shocked at what you can afford. Don't get spooked by the market, let us connect you with an amazing local lender so you can spend the upcoming cool, crisp Autumn nights curled up with a blanket watching your favorite scary movie in your new home.
